Frequently asked questions.

  • As your name gets closer to the top of the Master Depositors list, you and several other families will be contacted by email about a new litter along with pictures. Unlike most other breeders, we don’t lock you into a specific litter because we understand that things can come up and it might not be the right time for you to take on the responsibility. We also offer a fully refundable deposit (minus an 8% processing fee). Read more here.

  • As stated very clearly in our Adoption Application we sell our dogs as personal pets, not for breeding purposes. Our contract asks families to have their puppy spayed or neutered by their first birthday. We ask that you do it by the time their first birthday comes around, doing so before can interfere with growth patterns.

  • Yes! While most breeders only have a 2-year health guarantee at the most we decided to push that to 10 years. The reason we offer a 10-year genetic health guarantee is because the truth is that most signs of genetic problems won’t show up until the dog is about 2 years old and sometimes even 4-5 years old. So, what does 2 years do?

  • With us not knowing where you have been, or what you have been around, we need to take extra caution for our puppies. So for the safety of our puppies, parents, and family, we do not allow home visitors. However, we can arrange a FaceTime call, so that you can visit with your puppy.

  • What a dog needs are food, water, a collar, a leash, a comfortable place to sleep, love and attention. Please ensure you have all of these ready before your puppy arrives.

  • On pick-up day, we will arrange a time and place that best works for you. If you are out of state, we can drive or arrange a “flight nanny” (for a flat fee of $850) depending on the conditions. Either way, we will get your puppy safely to you.

  • After trying various kinds of food, I have found that my puppies love the “Diamond Naturals Kibble.”

  • I would be happy to send a puppy to another country, but the depositor would need to arrange the shipping from the U.S. I will only ship to the border, and you have to take it from there.

  • Yes. To ensure all puppies in our program are cared for and for the protection of both parties we do require each new puppy owner to sign a puppy contract before the puppy goes home.
