Our Puppy Adoption Process

We are extra thoughtful and considerate when trying to find a house that our puppies can go to that will show extra love and care. Our puppy adoption process first starts with filling out an application. After completing and submitting the application we will evaluate it and if we feel like you would be a perfect fit, we will contact you via email with further instructions on how to make a deposit. From there, all you have to do is wait until the puppy is 8 weeks old to take it home. That is the quick version, below we broke it down into simpler steps and more detail.

  • Our approved depositors will be the only ones allowed to get a puppy. Start our Puppy Application today and be the first in line! We will evaluate your application and contact you with a response on whether or not we feel you are a good fit for one of our puppies. It generally takes about 1 business day.

As soon as you have been approved and have placed a $300 deposit, you will have a few options to look at:

Place your name on the Master Depositors List. You will get added to the Master Depositors list as soon as you submit your deposit and you will be able to choose based on seniority from the future litters.

Choose and adopt any available puppy. If any of our existing depositors choose to pass on a current puppy, we will list them as available to new depositors (the one who is next in line on the master depositors list).

All your deposits are always refundable (minus an 8% processing fee) up until the second you choose a puppy. If you find a puppy elsewhere while you were on our master depositors list, we can refund you within 2 business days, but only if you contact us ASAP. We can’t hear from you a week later because we need to sell the puppy to the next person in line.

  • We email all depositors every time a new litter arrives. The email we send out will have information on the new litter. At that point you will respond to the email telling us if you would like to pick a puppy from this litter. Being added to the picking list of the litter doesn’t always guarantee you a spot. We will inform those that are first on the waitlist on our new litter and if they decide to pass the opportunity, the email will be sent to the remaining depositors. We award these picking positions based on the Master List seniority. So if you are the first one in line you will get to pick first.

If you don’t want a puppy from the announced litter, you can ignore the email and hold off for a future litter announcement.

Being in place #15 isn’t all that bad of a spot because some of our depositors wait for specific litters, genders, colors, etc. Thanks to the picky people, you might still have a chance!

Each time that you pass on a current litter and the ones ahead of you choose from that litter, your name moves further up the Master List giving you greater odds for a better pick from the future litters.

  • A lot of people will only consider the looks and gender of a dog before buying one, but what you need to pay attention to are the traits and personality. Which is why we offer an aptitude test at 6-weeks of age, when the puppy’s brain is fully developed. It will help you make the best decision. We email those who are on the litter list new 6-week pictures, a video, and the aptitude test results for you to review before making your decision the following day.

Please review and go over the test results and video, so that you can be guided to what dog is the best for you.

  • As soon as our puppies have reached 6 weeks and 1 day of age then our depositors will get the chance to choose one of the puppies based on seniority. We require that the first person gives us an answer by 10:00 AM (Mountain Time), then it will go to depositor #2 and so on. Generally, most of our depositors are ready to give their answers right away, so the process moves on very quickly. Keep in mind that we do require all picks to be confirmed through email so that there is no confusion, it helps so we can always go back through and double-check if there are any questions.

Once it’s your turn to pick, please email us the puppy you want and we will immediately post your choice on the litter page. If you don’t end up with the chance to pick the one you wanted, you can pick a different one or put yourself back on the waitlist. Once you choose a puppy, we assume that you are fully committed and ready to take care of the dog and your deposit becomes non-refundable. However, if you end up choosing a dog and then change your mind, we can transfer you back over to the waitlist for a fee of $300.

  • After everyone chooses their puppies, it becomes time to collect the final payment. We will email you the puppy agreement along with the invoice. The invoice includes the price of the puppy minus the deposit you had previously placed and any other costs for optional training and/or puppy transportation.

You can pay the remaining balance via Bank Transfer, Credit Card (but remember that we add 3% to cover the processing fees charged by our online merchant - Paypal or Venmo), Cash, or Check. If you send a check, please send it right away so that we can receive and process it prior to shipping. All payments must be made before your puppy can go home or begin training.

  • At 8 weeks of age is when our puppies are ready to go home or begin their obedience training. We will not let our puppies go home any sooner than 8 weeks of age. It is important in a puppy’s life that they spend the first 8 weeks of their life with their mother and siblings. They also need the chance to be properly weaned between 7-8 weeks of age.
